Some great whale action out there today!

We’re now seeing more activity than ever, with the humpbacks putting on some incredible displays and spending more time closer to the coast. Breaches, tail slaps, pectoral waves and curious approaches are becoming a regular part of the experience.

This is one of the best times of the season to get out on the water and witness these magnificent animals in their natural environment. The whales are active, the encounters are memorable, and every trip offers something different.

A moment like this is why we love being out on the water.

From the deck of Crusader 1, our guests were treated to an incredible close encounter as this magnificent humpback whale cruised alongside us, showing just how curious and majestic these animals can be.

With plenty of room to move around the vessel and small passenger numbers, everyone gets a front-row seat to nature’s greatest show. No crowds, no rush—just unforgettable whale watching and memories that stay with you long after you return to shore.

Whale season is in full swing on the Sunshine Coast, and the whales are putting on an amazing display.

This lucky group experienced the full humpback whale show — spectacular breaches, powerful tail slaps, and plenty of pectoral fin slapping. Moments like these are what make whale watching on the Sunshine Coast so special.

If cruising the stunning Mooloolah River canals and ocean, hosting guests, and being part of a fun, fast-paced marine tourism crew sounds like your thing — we want to hear from you!

What we’re looking for:

✔️ A genuine can-do attitude
✔️ Current RSA
✔️ Enthusatic attitude
✔️ Must be able to work weekends
✔️ Deckhand experience (a bonus)
✔️ Tourism & travel experience (also a bonus)
