Park Guell in Barcelona. Gaudí’s core philosophy was that nature is the greatest architect and he believed straight lines don’t exist in nature so they shouldn’t dominate buildings either. Everything curves, branches, flows. When it’s combined with stunning planting it’s beautiful!

The moment the light hits those windows in the Segrada Familia, the whole nave comes alive. Blues and greens flooding in from the east. Burning reds and oranges blazing from the west. It’s not decoration, it’s storytelling with birth on one side and death on the other. The entire life of Christ told in colour and light.

Gaudí said “Sunshine is the best painter.” He wasn’t wrong.

If you ever get the chance to be inside the Segrada Familiaat sunset just go.

Today marks the anniversary of the devastating 2011 earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand. A city shaken to its core, lives lost, buildings reduced to rubble — but a community that refused to be broken.

Out of the destruction rose something extraordinary: the beautiful Cardboard Cathedral. Built as a symbol of hope and resilience, this striking church became a reminder that even in the darkest moments, creativity and strength can rebuild a city’s heart.

Sipping a Singapore Sling in the iconic Long Bar at Raffles Singapore. There’s something magical about sitting where it was first created in 1915, soaking up the colonial charm, the whirring ceiling fans and tossing peanut shells on the floor like everyone else.

There’s something magical about the Waltzers ride. From childhood to now it’s always been my absolute favorite fairground ride. The spin, the music, the laughter; every time I step on I’m instantly transported back to those carefree summer nights at the fair. Some things just stay with you forever.

Cruising through the legendary Hole in the Rock in the Bay of Islands!
Māori legend says this 60-foot archway was carved by two battling taniwha (guardian spirits). Passing through it is said to bring good luck, when the sea allows! Our passage through was very rocky but so awesome
