New Caledonia is home to one of the world’s most unique biodiversities, with an exceptional rate of endemism: many animal and plant species are found nowhere else on the planet. 🦎🌺🐠

At Aircalin, we are committed to making a tangible contribution to the preservation of this unique natural heritage. ✈️🌱

Thanks to voluntary environmental contributions from our passengers, 296,000 XPF has been donated to the Plantes Loca’terre project, dedicated to the restoration and promotion of local plants in New Caledonia.

On the ground, this commitment has taken the form of a school-based project at the Michel-Rocard secondary school in Pouembout:
