Hi everyone
It’s with a heavy heart that I will be soon stepping down from my role in COTG. Over the last 12 months with cost of living, petrol, groceries etc going up and transport and pet sitting seasonal, we need to have a steady income to get ahead in life. Working transport and pet sitting as much as I love them are 7 days a week jobs and high and low season. So we struggle in the low season and absolutely exhausted in the high season.
COTG has been amazing for what we needed it to be which was while our kids were young we could work around school and sports etc. now they are all old enough to fend for themselves that isn’t needed and full time work is. Full time pay/superannuation/paid leave etc. all these things that I have been paying myself minimal to keep our business running.
Lee is still staying in our business with her ndis clients and she will be taking on transport jobs to fit around her clients.
I have started letting transport people know if we can no longer help them so they can have plenty of notice to find another company. If you aren’t sure inbox me and I can confirm with you.
To all my pet sitting clients. Thank you so much for having me look after your fur babies. I have loved every minute of getting to know your fur family and I will miss them all.
So July will be my last month working in COTG. 😢
As of August 3rd I will be starting my training as a full time Big Blue Bus Driver based at Randwick. I’m very excited and maybe a little nervous but a new challenge for me and I can’t wait.
I’d like to thank everyone who has ever used any of our services both now and in the past and those who continue to use our services in the future.
Don’t fret, Lee is still staying in COTG doing her support work and transport but for now it’s time for me to sign off and start a new journey.
Cheers and stay safe
Love to all
