I’ll be honest. I’ve never been especially drawn to the idea of a big commercial cruise.
The thought of thousands of people on one ship, busy buffet lines, crowded decks and a quick get-off, get-on style of travel has never really matched the way I like to experience the world. I’ve always been more interested in the places that take a little more effort to reach, where the journey feels just as important as the destination.
