We’re Looking For Operators.

Dunns Recovery and Heavy Haulage is chasing someone who knows what hard work looks like.

If you’re the type who keeps a cool head when things go sideways, can think your way out of a problem, and isn’t afraid of long hours, heavy recoveries, or getting dirty, keep reading.

We’re based in Tamworth NSW, and we are looking for a HEAVY Recovery Tow Operator/Tilt Tray Driver

This role would suit a diesel mechanic looking for a change in direction, using your knowledge of heavy vehicles and machinery.

You well need:

• Minimum HC Licence with the ability to upgrade
•The ability to obtain a NSW Tow Truck Driver Certificate. ( or have one already)
•Confidence operating a road ranger gearbox.
•Solid mechanical knowledge
•Common sense, initiative, and the ability to solve problems on the fly
•To be available for rostered and after hours work.
•A professional attitude when dealing with customers, emergency services and the public

You’ll be operating tilt trays and heavy underlift trucks transporting everything from new equipment to salvage items, as well as attending recoveries and breakdowns in all kinds of conditions. No two days are the same, some are straightforward, others will test your skill, patience and judgement.

This isn’t a job for someone looking to sit behind the wheel all day. This is a hands on, varied and at times demanding work that requires someone who can think and act under pressure.
