NSW Premier, Chris Minns, was more than impressed during his visit to Steber International’s Taree factory this week.
During his site tour he inspected our Electric Hybrid prototype, an export dive vessel bound for Dubai, various Australian Defence projects as well as two major commercial vessels under construction.

Steber International General Manager, Alan Steber has received a 23 year service medal recognising his volunteer work with Tinonee Rural Fire Service.
The ceremony was held yesterday at Camden Haven.

Steber International general manager, Alan Steber last week gave a special presentation on the “Steber 43 Hybrid Diesel-Electric Workboat” to a meeting of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects.
The event, held at the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, was attended by a wide cross-section of maritime professionals followed by a lively question time covering the hybrid’s evolution to current status.

We have not renewed the production contract due to our ongoing heavy workload including defence and export commitments.

Forster-Tuncurry Marine Rescue’s 38ft Steber “Cape Hawke” leaves our Taree factory following a short refit which included installation of a davit on the rear cockpit deck.
