Taree Historic Motor Club Inc. The Taree Historic Motor Club has regular club meetings at Club Taree, 2nd Wednesday of each month. Clubs attending were Taree, Tamworth & Coffs Harbour.

The inaugural rally was hosted by Taree Historic Motor Club on the October long weekend in 1972. The rally was at that stage a bi-annual event based in Taree up until 1978 when the Hub was formed. The rally then became The Great Eastland Rally when it was hosted by Tamworth in 1980 & sponsored by Great Eastland Television which was based in Tamworth. eteran & Vintage Car Club, Hastings Auto Restorers Society Inc. Tamworth & District Antique Motor Club, Great Lakes Historic Automobile Club & The Classic and Specialist Car Club of Northern NSW (Armidale) all of which host the rally on a rotation system each year.

Our Story

Founded in 1972, Taree Historic Motor Club offers technical support and a variety of social activities for people interested in classic, vintage and veteran vehicles.

We are a proud club of approximately 160 friendly members, which is steadily growing. Prospective members and their partners are more than welcome to attend the meetings and join our club.

The Club conducts seven outings a month, plus a weekend trip and a week away.
