We are currently seeking an experienced HC Driver with forklift and yard-based experience for a position available at our Neil Mansell Transport - Darwin depot.

The role involves loading and unloading of general and refrigerated freight, forklift operations and local pick-ups and deliveries in the Darwin area.

The successful applicant will need to have the ability to undertake flexible working hours, with overtime available throughout the week as required.

Ideally, the successful applicant will have the following:
• High Risk Forklift Licence
• Experience loading general and refrigerated freight
• HC or MC Licence
• 5-year traffic history report
• Sound knowledge of Darwin and surrounding areas

The position involves operating a forklift and loading and unloading Chiller/Freezer & Dry goods. This role requires good time management, excellent communication skills and the ability to accurately complete paperwork. The work hours are Monday to Friday and reasonable additional hours are required to meet operational requirements.

Ideally, successful applicants will have the following:
 Current high risk forklift license
 Prior experience in transport particularly Chiller/Freezer & Dry goods

About the Role
Neil Mansell Concrete is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Concrete Batcher to join our operations at the Bundaberg batch plant. This is a critical role ensuring the quality of our product and the efficiency of our delivery schedules.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the precise batching of concrete mixes, managing raw materials, and coordinating daily transport logistics to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Batching Operations: Operate plant equipment and Rinstrum 5100 scales to produce high-quality concrete to specification.

Order Allocation: Take customer calls, process orders, and efficiently allocate agitator trucks to ensure timely deliveries.

Administration: Utilize Microsoft Excel and Outlook for daily reporting, stock management, and internal communication.

Quality Control: Monitor moisture levels and aggregate grading to maintain product consistency.

Safety & Maintenance: Conduct daily plant inspections and ensure a clean, safe working environment in compliance with WH&S standards.

What We Are Looking For

Proven Experience: Previous experience in concrete batching or a similar high-volume construction materials environment. Previous experience in the operation of a front-end loader.

Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy is essential; you must be comfortable using Excel and managing a busy email inbox.

Equipment Knowledge: Experience with Rinstrum 5100 scales or equivalent batching software is highly regarded.

Communication Skills: An excellent phone manner and the ability to handle fast-paced dispatching and scheduling.

Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Bundaberg and surrounding regions to assist with effective routing.

The role encompasses providing counter and internal steel sales. The position duties include customer service, answering incoming calls, cutting steel and preparing customer orders.
