To all servants of God and beloved fellow believers,

Greetings in the name of Christ!
We request you all to pray; a major disaster struck Nepal two days ago, and entire villages have been devastated by floods. Please take a moment right now to pray!
Your prayers are needed.
We have received information from district leaders regarding the situation in the Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts of Nepal. We humbly request you to continue praying earnestly and consistently for the affected churches, pastors, families, believers, and communities.

🙏 Affected Churches and Believers

1. Syabrubesi Church, Rasuwa

* Pastor: Pastor Lakpa Tamang
* 3 believers are missing.

2. Punarutthan (Resurrection) Church, Rasuwa

* Pastor: Pastor Deepak Bartal
* The church and its members have been affected.

3. Punarutthan (Resurrection) Church, Nuwakot

* The church has sustained damage.
* The pastor is missing.

4. Mailung Church, Rasuwa

* The church has sustained damage.
* Pastor: Pastor Dil Bahadur Tamang
* Approximately 50 believers are missing.

5. Shanti Bazar, Nuwakot

* Approximately 30 believers have lost their lives.

6. Timure Church, Rasuwa

* Reports indicate that the pastor is the only survivor.
* Many believers have lost their lives.

7. Tukche Anugrah (Grace) Church, Nuwakot

* Pastor: Pastor Deepak Yonjan
* 4 believers are missing.

8. Dakhbari Church, Rasuwa

* Pastor: Pastor Kumar Gurung
* 17 people are missing.

9. Grace Church, Nuwakot

* 3 believers are missing.

10. St. Petra Church, Nuwakot

* 4 believers are missing.

11. Nav Jyoti Baptist Church, Nuwakot

* The church has sustained partial damage. * Pastor: Pastor Tirtha Giri

🙏 Urgent Prayer Requests

Please continue to pray for:

* Missing pastors, believers, and community members, that they may be found safe.
* Those who have lost their lives and the families who are grieving.
* Pastors and church leaders serving in the affected areas.
* Rescue and relief operations, that they may reach those still stranded or in need of help.
* Shelter, food, water, medicine, and other essentials for affected families.
* Courage, comfort, safety, and hope for affected churches and communities.
* God’s wisdom and guidance for all those involved in rescue and relief efforts.

Please share this information with your churches, prayer groups, and ministry networks, and continue to pray earnestly and consistently for Rasuwa and Nuwakot.

"I am an inmate. Before I came to prison, I did not know the Lord personally. My life was empty and I was full of anger, regret, and hopelessness. I thought my life was finished. But God in His mercy met me right here behind these walls. When I joined the Emmaus courses through the ministry, everything began to change. At first, I was just looking for something to pass the time. But as I started studying the Word of God through the Emmaus lessons, the Lord began to speak to my heart. The courses taught me who God is, who I am in Christ, and how to walk as a child of God. For the first time I understood salvation, forgiveness, and the new life we have in Jesus.

The Emmaus courses have greatly changed my spiritual life. I now have a hunger for God’s Word. I wake up early to pray and to do my lessons. The Bible studies have given me truth to hold onto when days are hard. Where there was bitterness, the Lord has given me peace. Where there was darkness, He has given me hope. I am growing, and I can see the Lord shaping my character day by day. But God did not stop with me. He is using me to reach others here in prison. I now share what I am learning with other inmates. We sit together, we discuss the lessons, and we pray together. Some have given their lives to Christ. Others are encouraged not to give up.

The Word I learn from Emmaus is becoming a light to men around me. I am so grateful to the Lord, and to the ministry, for these courses. In a place where it is difficult to have a Bible of your own, the Emmaus lessons have been bread for my soul. I pray that God will continue to use this ministry to bring many more men to Christ.
