HIRING: DRIVER

Gentle Giant Removals is a removals company based at the crossroads of the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie regions. Located only 5 minutes from the M1 we’re in a unique position to serve a large geographic area. We have grown considerably in the last couple of years and we require an experienced driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be in good shape, well presented with a lot of experience in the removals industry with both MR & HR license.

Responsibilities:
• Overseeing moves to ensure that belonging are handled efficiently and carefully
• Ensuring that OH&S standards are followed
• Reliability and consistency a must

Required Skills
• Removals industry in a similar role is a must
• Experience in commercial moves highly desired
• Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise
• The ability to work autonomously but also as part of a team or to accept managerial direction when need be
Remuneration
$27-30 per hour

HIRING: SALES / ADMIN MANAGER
FULL TIME

Gentle Giant Removals is a removals company based at the crossroads of the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie regions. Located only 5 minutes from the M1 we’re in a unique position to serve a large geographic area. We have grown considerably in the last couple of years and we are looking for a new team member not just to join us but eventually run our office.
The ideal candidate will be well presented, innovative, energetic and ready to jump into a managerial role. They will have vast experience in the removals industry and a flair for sales

This job will be based both at our Doyalson base and there are work from home opportunities. You will be required at times to visit prospective clients for a face to face quotations.
Responsibilities:
• Handling inbound enquiries for job estimates, securing the business with proactive salesmanship and world class customer service
• Building sales funnel to ensure that all customers are followed up
• Record keeping
• Maintaining job diary to ensure no double bookings and sufficient time between jobs
• Handling existing and increasing social media presence
• Once sufficient in all of these areas, the position will transition to an operations manager role with greater responsibility and benefits.

Required Skills
• Removals industry in a similar role is a must
• Experience in commercial moves highly desired
• Must be computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office.

• Must have current drivers license and be a confident driver
• MR & HR license an advantage

We are presently engaged in mainly home relocation with pre-packs etc available as well as away work and heading into associated parts of the industry We sponsor a school in Cambodia and support other communities in Asia and Australia We have a high standard of appreciation from our clients .We do Our best to have an appreciative and supportive environment with at least a little humor to enjoy the day

Qualifications & experience

FOR DRIVERS MR or HR Licence
At least 12 months experience in domestic relocation
Pre - Pack experience an advantage
Be Reliable and Honest
FOR OFFSIDERS AS ABOVE car licence an advantage
Tasks & responsibilities

Driver MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in domestic removals and to be able to deal with clients
To be able to pad & load furniture items
To be able to follow instructions and fill in paper work
Experience in pre -packs would be helpful
