Anita and Narelle are two drivers from CDC Victoria. They are also two of the faces of our ongoing campaign.

"I love making a small difference to someone's day," said Narelle. It's a comment we hear frequently from our drivers. They care about their passengers and know the difference they make in their lives.

Behind the wheel of every bus are drivers like Narella and Anita, who bring dedication to their role and a commitment to the people they transport.

We were pleased to attend the launch of the Wyndham Learning Festival 2026, connecting with community members, local organisations and future job seekers.

As a proud sponsor of this local community event, we were delighted to support an initiative that celebrates learning, skills development and community connection across Wyndham.

Our team showcased a range of career opportunities across the business, including bus driver and mechanic roles, while also highlighting our Driven Women Program and the pathways available for women in transport.

It was a valuable opportunity to engage with the Wyndham community, share information about careers in public transport and build new connections.

The Wyndham Learning Festival runs from 1 to 7 September, featuring more than 100 free activities and events across the municipality, celebrating learning, lifelong education and future career pathways.

The countdown is on! 🌟

Our CDC Broken Hill team is all geared up and ready to help thousands of festival-goers get to and from the 2026 Mundi Mundi Bash from 20-22 August.

With more than 30,000 attendees expected and the region welcoming a significant influx of visitors, we are proud to play our part in supporting one of Australia's most iconic outback events. Working closely with event organisers and Broken Hill City Council, our team will be delivering a range of transport services to keep people moving safely and reliably throughout the festival.

We are expecting to transport more than 2,500 passengers each night, with shuttle services operating continuously from 5 pm to 11 pm for three days. We will also provide daily shuttle services between the festival site and the Silverton Hotel, moving around 2,000 people each day, alongside a full charter operation with up to five coaches running daily, expanding across Thursday, Friday and Saturday to meet demand.

It's all hands on deck now! A huge thank you to our Broken Hill team, whose hard work and dedication will help keep the festival moving.

Putting Customers First.

Providing a safe, reliable and positive experience for our customers remains at the heart of everything we do.

To further enhance customer service across our Mildura operations, our drivers have recently participated in a series of Customer Experience workshops led by our Driver Trainer, Kevin Farrell. These workshops focus on practical skills, professional communication, and strategies for creating positive interactions with customers every day.

The sessions have provided an opportunity for drivers to share experiences, discuss customer service best practices, and explore ways to further improve the journey experience for everyone who travels with us.

Investing in our people is an important part of delivering great customer experiences.

Thank you to Kevin and our Mildura team for helping create a positive experience for every customer who travels with us.

We recently partnered with Cultura in Geelong to deliver our BusAble program to several groups of newly arrived migrants and refugees from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Designed to build confidence and independence when using public transport, the sessions combined classroom learning with a practical on-bus experience. Participants learned how to use a Myki card, plan trips, navigate routes, access accessibility features, use the PTV app, and understand passenger safety procedures.
The practical session gave participants the opportunity to experience boarding and travelling on a bus while asking questions in a supportive environment.

Jess Harper, CEO of Cultura, said, "For someone who is new to Australia, even something as simple as catching a bus can feel quite daunting. Having the chance to learn how the system works, ask questions and actually practise it makes a real difference. Being able to use public transport confidently and independently is an important part of the settlement journey, and programs like BusAble can make that first step a little easier."

We are proud to work alongside organisations such as Cultura to help people build the confidence and skills needed to travel independently on public transport. Through our BusAble program, we continue to help create more accessible, inclusive and connected communities.

This is an appreciation post for all our Charter Drivers!

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, professionalism and care you bring to every journey.

We regularly receive positive feedback about our charter drivers, who consistently go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Recently, we received some wonderful feedback about one of our charter drivers, Nirav Patel. Having been with CDC Victoria for more than a decade, Nirav's commitment, professionalism and customer focus continue to make a positive impact.

Ahead of a recent charter booking, Nirav took the initiative to visit the customer site several days in advance to assess the pick-up location and ensure it was safe and suitable for operations. His proactive approach helped ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone on the day.

As a bus operator, we know that great service is about more than getting passengers from A to B. It's about planning ahead, prioritising safety, and creating positive experiences for our customers every step of the way.

Thank you, Nirav, and all our Charter Drivers across the business, for representing CDC Victoria with pride every day.

We were proud to attend the Presidents and Sponsors Luncheon at Ballarat Football Netball Club, a valued community partner of ours in Ballarat.

Held in conjunction with the TAC, the luncheon focused on raising awareness of road safety and the role we all play in creating safer roads and better experiences for everyone who travels on them.

A powerful highlight of the event was hearing from local club member Christian, who shared his story of survival and recovery after being involved in a serious road incident with a drug-affected driver while training for a cycling event. His courage, resilience and determination to overcome significant injuries and return to cycling inspired everyone in the room.

As a bus operator, road safety is at the heart of what we do every day. Christian's experience was a moving reminder that our actions on the road can have life-changing consequences, and that we all have a responsibility to help keep our communities safe.

Thank you to Ballarat Football Netball Club and the TAC for hosting such an important event and continuing to drive meaningful conversations around road safety.

Women from across our organisation, representing a diverse range of roles, locations, and career journeys, recently came together for our Driven Women Celebration. The event provided an opportunity to build connections, exchange perspectives, and celebrate the valuable contributions women make to our organisation and the transport industry.

An inspiring line-up of speakers shared personal stories and insights that resonated strongly with attendees, sparking thoughtful discussions around growth, resilience, leadership, and opportunity.

The room was buzzing with conversation as colleagues connected with one another, expanded their networks, and shared valuable feedback. The event highlighted the strong sense of support and community that exists across CDC Victoria and reinforced the importance of creating spaces where women feel empowered to contribute and be heard.

As part of our Driven Women initiative, this celebration reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting women across all areas of our business. It also aligns with our broader Opening Doors for Diversity commitment, helping to create a workplace where people from all backgrounds feel welcomed, valued, and supported to thrive.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success. We look forward to creating more opportunities for connection, learning, and growth in the future.
