Gliding Tasmania Come join us and experience the magic of soaring flight at Tunbridge Airfield.

The Soaring Club of Tasmania (Operating as Gliding Tasmania) was started in 1974 and operated at Woodbury until moving to the nearby site at Tunbridge (Tunbridge Tier Road) in 2020. Members come from all around the state, with the majority being from Launceston and Hobart. There are several instructors available for those learning to fly and also for anyone wishing to give gliding a try (Air Experience Flights).
