Another great donation today from the Rotary Club of Runaway Bay. Ray and Keith were very proud to present this cheque from proceeds of their recent raffles, and a Trivia Night held at VMR earlier in the month.
VMR Southport are extremely appreciative of the Rotary generosity, as this, and last months donation will go a long way to completing our new outdoor kitchen area.

💐💐💐It was with the greatest of pleasure this morning when Nerida and Greg from the Rotary Club of Runaway Bay presented VMR Southport President Glenn Norris with a donation cheque for $3000
This donation was the result of proceeds earned from a very well executed Trivia Night the Rotary Club recently conducted, along with other great fundraising events that they hold.
VMR Southport is extremely appreciative of Organisations like Rotary, who do such a wonderful job in the community, and we look forward to continuing our great relationship.

Horizon Shores Marina Boat Show is on now!

Come and check it out, show runs until 8pm tonight. Bring the kids, wander through the markets, watch the Jetpack Fireworks at 7pm, grab a bite to eat and listen to live music. Along with many food options, the Runaway Bay Rotary Club is ready to serve you too. Whilst you are there grab a ticket in their raffle.
Tickets to the Boat Show can be purchased on line, plus there is a handy 50% off discount code.

Gifted to Bay Islands Community Services Inc. a few years ago it was time for a revamp for the Hood 23.

Many volunteer hours later 'Nereides' looked the picture with new Antifoul and Paintworks. A real team effort by Graham, Don, Kerry & Rob and it was Marine Team Australia absolute pleasure to offer our support with their project.

BICSI provide a range of services to the islands of Russell, Macleay, Lamb and Karragarra. They have two community centres, one on Russell Island and the other on Macleay Island.

Their maritime division is run by volunteers and they have two vessels, one of them being this one called 'Nereides'. They offer sailing lessons and sailing activities for the communities use. Contact 3409 1177 for more information.
