Bosca Helicopters is a family-owned business with bases in Victoria Plains, 25km West of Mackay QLD, and Newman, in the Pilbara region of WA. As a CASA certified maintenance facility, our team of experienced Engineers specialise in the Repairs, Maintenance and Overhauls of Robinson Helicopters. Due to business growth, we are seeking new members to join the team.
SENIOR ADMIN OFFICER AND APPRENTICE
Senior Admin Officer:
There is a vacancy for a Senior Admin Officer for our base at Victoria Plains. The Senior Admin Officer will report directly to the Office Manager and Business Owner. We are based on a property at Victoria Plains, so a drivers licence and own transport and accommodation is essential. This is a full-time role and hours of work can be flexible for the right candidate.
This role will entail:
- You will be responsible for the quality of your own work with routine supervision
- Liaising with customers and pilots to coordinate the conduction of maintenance both on site at our Victoria Plains base and remotely for our base in Newman, WA.
- Assist the Office Manager with Stores,
Maintenance Control and Planning.
- Liaising with suppliers for stores, freight, and logistics
- Assist the Business Owner with CASA and WHS requirements and audits
- Coordinate customers, Engineering and Admin Staff
The ideal candidate will have:
- Customer service experience and exceptional communication skills
- Competence with computers and technology
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in a leadership role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
Advantageous but non-essential skills:
- Knowledge of the Aviation Industry
- Experience with Aerotrack

Apprentice Aircraft Engineer
Bosca Helicopters is looking for an Apprentice Aircraft Engineer at our base at Victoria Plains, QLD. We are based at Victoria Plains, so a drivers licence and own transport and accommodation is essential.
This role will entail:
- Completing training and study of Aircraft Maintenance and regulatory requirements in order to progress to an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME)
- Assisting Engineers with servicing, repairs and Overhauls of Robinson Helicopters, including the removal and installation of aircraft components
- Supporting the issue, supply and management of tooling and equipment in the line of maintenance
- Assisting with the creation and updating of work orders
- Housekeeping of the hangar
- Maintaining a detailed apprenticeship journal
The ideal candidate will be:
- Self-motivated and have an excellent work ethic
- Interested in aviation and engineering
- Able to use tools in a safe and appropriate manner
- Mechanically minded and have practical abilities
- Focused on achieving goals and objectives
