Good afternoon.
This message is regarding some issues we have been having with bike sizes and bikes not fitting into the racks securely.
If a bike is deemed too big or oversized for the rack, then the bike cannot travel.
Unfortunately, bike racks will not be made any larger, and the current bike racks can only hold bikes that fit safely and securely.
Please do not expect your bike to be carried if it does not fit into the bike rack.
We have had numerous occasions where passengers have been left behind due to bikes not fitting securely into the racks, and then not being able to travel.
It can cause great distress to families when they expect their children will be using a bike rack service, only to find out the bike was too big, does not fit securely, and then the child is unable to use the service with their bike.
Please make sure you understand the dimensions of the bike racks and that you are aware of the size of your own bike before you try to use the bike rack service.
It is very important that people understand this as they may not be able to use the service if their bike is too big.
Please see the pictures attached to this post showing the bike wheel “not” firmly seated in, and on the base of the bike rack properly.
Only two-wheel single-seat bikes with a wheel size between 50cm (20”) and 73cm (29”), and up to a 111cm (44”) wheelbase can be loaded.
Bikes must weigh less than 25 kilograms.
Please note: Children aged 13 or under must be assisted by an adult to load and unload the bike from the rack.

Good evening.
Due to a minor electrical malfunction in the door switch, the 16:37 bus from Warburton is being swapped over at Scotchman's Creek bus stop, Warburton (Babaji's Warburton).
Currently the bus is running 20 minutes behind, and the replacement bus is approx 2 minutes away from Scotchman's Creek.
We apologise for all inconveniences.

Route 683 Timetable change.
Commencing Tuesday 09th June.

Dear 683 Travellers.
Due to removal of the route deviations through Woori Yallock Estate and Upper Secondary College, timetable changes will take effect from Tuesday 9th June on the following Services.
Online timetables have been updated to reflect these changes however, the displayed Timetable at the bus stop will not be changed until Tuesday the 09th June, thank you.

Good afternoon, and sorry to do this again, but there is going to be another disruption to our 683 passengers regarding the damaged road at Wandin North.

The same stretch of the Warburton Hwy at Wandin Nth between Bailey Gve and Victoria Road that collapsed is going to be worked on again.
Starting from the 16:47 service from Chirnside Park, we will be detouring along Victoria Road & Connors Flar Road Wandin North, missing the following stops, Wanda Ave, Bailey Gve and Wellington Road.
We believe the services to Chirnside Park will stay on the Warburton Hwy.
We will try our best to keep on time for you.

UPDATE TO THE WANDIN NORTH DIVERSION

Due to the nature of the road, we have a new diversion.
All remaining services tonight, will travel in the following manner.

Wandin North to Lilydale:
The bus will travel via a Clegg Road to Mt Evelyn, using Hereford Road to Anderson Street, and then on to Maroondah Hwy.
Due to this change, we will miss all stops after Wandin North roundabout and Lilydale Post Office.

Lilydale to Wandin:
The bus will travel via Anderson street, Hereford Road to Mt Evelyn and then Clegg Road to Wandin North.
Due to this change, we will miss all stops from Castella Street, (Opposite Lilydale Post Office) and Wandin North roundabout.

These changes are out of our control and we apologise for all inconveniences.

To all of our 683 passengers that have not heard.
A stretch of the Warburton Hwy at Wandin Nth between Bailey Gve and Victoria Road has collapsed.
We are currently missing the following stops, Wanda Ave, Bailey Gve and Wellington Road.
The buses are diverting along, Connors Flat Road and Victoria Road.
We have no idea how long this diversion will be in place or how many days.
We are trying our best to keep on time and travelling for you.
