Nice to have the RV-6 back in the air again after a 9 month rest in the hangar. Friday arvo flying back on the agenda now the weather is starting to improve again. And hopefully some formation training

46 YEARS:
That's how long the Central Coast Aero Club has been a part of the local community. Here's what we've achieved so far:

✅Training countless pilots; from those who are now airline pilots, to those who wanted to fulfill a lifelong dream of achieving a pilot's licence.
✅Promoting tourism by taking visitors up on scenic flights to view this beautiful region from above.
✅Charity and community days; days where we take families who are doing it tough up on free scenic flights, to open days for the community to come take a discounted flight and learn about aviation.
✅Hosting several school excursions, allowing schoolkids a hands-on experience of the aviation world and also the science behind aerodynamics.
✅Charter flights taking community organisations and small business to other locations around Australia to conduct their operations
✅Never operated large or noisy jet aircraft, or airline services.
✅Providing skilled employment opportunities for both our pilots and engineers.
✅Offering aerobatic flights for the thrill seekers.

this aircraft is a a dream to fly and has proven to be very reliable

engine is on condition all compression 76-78/80 oil filters checked and no metal contamination or other defects, had a TOP overhaul about 400 hrs ago and a bulk strip about 4 or 5 years ago to replace camshaft.

This is a great little plane and is currently on line with the local flying school which helps to pay the bills.
