ial Pilot Licence (CPL) that can set you on course for an aviation career as a flight instructor or airline pilot. Compared to busier training airports at Cessnock, Bankstown or Camden, learning to fly with at Warnervale Airport means more time in the air and less time being delayed on the ground, paying while you wait to take off. Warnervale Airport is only a 50 minute drive from the northern suburbs of Sydney or the Newcastle CBD via the M1 motorway. Our scenic joy flights give a unique perspective on the Central Coast to both locals and tourists alike. From the beaches to the hinterland and the lakes and suburbs in between, you’ll see the beauty of the region from an exciting new perspective with one of our friendly, experienced pilots. Whether you want to take a close look from only 500 feet above the beaches, or soar thousands of feet in the air to have a close encounter with a cloud, a Central Coast Aero Club joy flight is a unique and unforgettable gift or tourism experience for all ages. If you’re an adrenalin ju**ie, then an acrobatic flight is for you. Climb aboard our aerobatic Citabria plane and experience thrilling loops and rolls in the skies above the Central Coast in a heart pounding aviation adventure you’ll never forget. We have Cessna and Piper aircraft available for private charter flights to any airport in New South Wales and Australia. Our fleet of private aircraft is available for private hire to licensed pilots and offers a range of performance and payload variations to suit any flight plan.

Pilatus PC-12 departs Warnervale on a windy day.

The Pilatus PC-12 is a versatile Swiss-built single-engine turboprop ( 'jet' turbine engine, where instead of the exhaust gases being expelled aft of the engine to provide thrust, they are harnessed to drive a turbine linked to a propeller at the front of the engine to provide thrust. Basically a combination of a jet engine (the 'power source') and a propeller ('the thrust source'). Turboprop engines are generally more efficient than a turbofan engine below about 20,000').
Known for combining strong performance, excellent range and a spacious cabin with the ability to operate from relatively short and unimproved airstrips, the PC-12 is used worldwide for corporate travel, charter, freight and medical operations, the PC-12 has built a reputation as one of the most capable and practical aircraft in its class.

The CCAC have enthusiastically partnered with One Helicopters, bringing helicopter flight training to the Central Coast.
The CCAC and our subsidiaries have provided fixed wing flight training for 5 decades on the Central Coast, covering virtually every licence, rating and endorsement there is.
Our constitution’s primary objective is to “foster all forms of aviation on the Central Coast”. One Heli covers the one area of aviation we do not: rotary wing ops.
We have provided land and offices to One, whilst they complete the process to lease a site from Council.
Welcome to Warnervale One Helicopters!

WATER SALUTE FOR RETIREMENT

In Aviation, a water salute is where an aircraft travels under plumes of water expelled by one or more fire-fighting vehicles, as a mark of respect or appreciation.

Today, the Aero Club, with the help of the Warnervale Rural Fire Brigade marked the final revenue flight of Instructor Tony Moore, after 40 years of flight instructing.

A big congratulations to Tony, and a thankyou for all the members who helped celebrate Tony's career tonight.

Congratulations to Russell on passing his RPL flight test yesterday! 🎉 ✈️
