In relation to the terrible incident today regarding the death of a child in a rideshare car in WA today….

🚗 WA Rideshare Child Seat Laws – What You Need to Know

Did you know in Western Australia:

• Rideshare drivers are not required to provide child car seats (similar to taxis)
• Children aged 1–7 years must sit in the rear seat
• If no child seat is provided, they must use a properly fitted adult seatbelt
• Children under 12 months may be held on an adult’s lap in the rear seat, but must never share a seatbelt
• Children under 7 years cannot sit in the front seat if the vehicle has two or more rows
• Drivers are legally responsible for ensuring children are safely restrained

👉 While these are the legal minimums, using a proper child restraint is always the safest option.

Sorry everyone…
I washed my car and it shrunk 😆🤣

Turns out my LDV D90 is currently at the spa getting some “unwanted artwork” removed from my baby 🙄

So in the meantime, I’ve been given a “SUV”… (I’d like to speak to the manager about that definition 😂)

BUT—don’t worry!

Still on the road, still doing airport runs ✈️ and private pickups like a pro 💪

Just… slightly more compact than usual 😅

To our wonderful WizzYa There passengers,

We’re all about getting you where you need to go reliably, comfortably, and with a smile 😊. However, as fuel prices continue to rise faster than a kangaroo on a trampoline, we must make a small adjustment to ensure smooth operations.

Starting immediately, we’ll introduce a temporary fuel surcharge instead of increasing all fares. This surcharge will remain in place until fuel prices stabilise or until we find a way to power our cars with Vegemite. The surcharge will be:

- $10 for private rides

Additionally, we’ll be adding a 2.5% payment processing fee for EFTPOS, credit card, invoice, and online payments. Think of it as a small price to pay for the convenience of not having to count out coins in the dark.

Don’t worry, EFT transfers and cash payments remain fee-free 👍. So, if you’re feeling nostalgic, bring out the piggy bank!

Good news: if you’ve already booked and paid, your fare will remain unchanged. You’re like a VIP in a world of fluctuating prices!
