Real talk 👋
I just started a new job (part-time, but big hours) and I'm genuinely stoked about it.
What that means for Clear Getaways Travel I'm not going to be posting as much for a bit while I find my rhythm. Fewer reels, slower replies, maybe a stretch of quiet here and there.
What it doesn't mean: I'm going anywhere. This business is still very much alive, and I'm still here supporting you. Honestly, going first has never just meant travel. It's meant building a sober life that actually works, money included. Right now that looks like a steady job alongside the thing I'm building.
So bear with me. I'm still here, still sober, still obsessed with getting you women out the door on your own adventures. Just juggling a bit more than usual for a while. 🧡

Another one ticked off the list 📍 Bunker Distillery
This is the part of my job people don't always see. When I recommend somewhere to a client, I want to know it's actually right for them, sober friendly, safe, welcoming. Sometimes that means going and checking it myself, like today.
They stock 5 different alcohol free w**es behind the bar. I tried the Brown Brothers Prosecco Zero and Pinot Grigio Zero, both genuinely good. Full flavour, properly chilled, served in real glassware, not an afterthought on the menu.
The same rigor goes into every destination I help you plan, whether I've personally stood there or done the research and safety mapping from here. That's the standard either way.

"i didn't expect a distillery to get sober travel this right."

I visited bunker distillery yesterday for the ambiance and the mocktails, honestly not expecting much on the non-alc front. four mocktails in, named and priced right alongside the cocktails, i was proven wrong.
it's the little things, a proper menu instead of an afterthought, a space that felt just as good to sit in without a drink in hand as with one. the copper stills, the wh**ky barrel lounge, the chalkboard humour on the wall. all of it made for a genuinely lovely afternoon.
this is exactly what i mean when i talk about sober solo travel. it's not about missing out on the good venues, it's about knowing which ones actually get it right. that's what i help with in my coaching, finding the places, planning the trip, and rehearsing it so you walk in feeling confident, not anxious.
