It was so nice to be able to go out for dinner last night. First time in 3 weeks where i had a good day. My procedure this week showed my liver is healthy with no signs of damage but my enzymes are still extremely high but pain is becoming more manageable. Another appointment this week with the surgeon to see where to go next but im taking all the small wins as much as i can. Fingers crossed that all this might be over soon.

Hey guys, just a short update got dishcharged 2 days ago with no idea whats going on still. Got more procedures coming up but feeling extremely let down by the health system. My mind is just not into my buisness at the moment so im taking a break until my health is hopefully sorted. Much love to you all ♥️

Hey guys just touching base. Still in hospital and after my mri my liver enzymes keep rising everyday. Alot of bloods and next step i think is endoscopy. Missing being online and interacting and keeping updated with all your adventures. Not sure when il be out and with the love and visits from my kids is keeping me sane lol . Missing my doggies so much. Big huggs

Sorry about all the hospital posts lately but i want to keep my little community informed. Admited back to hospital yesterday. Severe pain like when i had my gallblader out. Blood tests have shown my liver enzymes are at 400 and the average is 55. Im waiting on seeing the surgeon and am scheduled for a mrcp mri scan on Wednesday. The nurses have been fantastic and also the doctors. Dont know much more until i see the surgeon. Looking forward to getting better and going on my next solo sober adventure. Big huggs to.you all.

Something I've always said I'd be honest about if it happened to me, it's happening.
Six weeks ago I had my gallbladder out. Yesterday I was back in hospital with a dilated bile duct. In between I've had morphine, fentanyl, endone, codeine. My body has been through it and so has my head.
Even though I'm sober, that devil voice has come back loud. And I know this voice. Every single relapse I've ever had started with opiates.
I'm not hiding from that. I've talked to the people closest to me. I see my surgeon on Monday. I'm doing the right things.
But I also know the right thing for right now is to step back from posting and focus completely on my recovery.
This is what sobriety actually looks like sometimes. It's not always strong and sorted. Sometimes it's just honest and hanging on.

There is no travel agent for you.
Not really.

There are plenty of options if you drink. Wine tours, cocktail bars built into the itinerary, "unwind with a glass of something" at every turn. The travel industry is built around alcohol as the reward at the end of the day.
But if you are a sober woman who just wants to go somewhere and feel good doing it? Your options are basically two things.
A retreat that costs thousands of dollars for a few days. Or nothing.
And I am not knocking retreats. But what about the woman who just wants to take a trip. Not heal. Not transform. Not spend her savings on a yoga mat and a green juice program. Just travel. See something new. Feel like herself somewhere different.
That woman does not have anyone in her corner.
I know because I was her. And I spent a long time wondering if I was being too fussy. If I should just figure it out like everyone else.
So I built what I could not find. Not for everyone. I am not trying to reach the masses.
I am doing this for that one woman sitting somewhere right now feeling like travel is just not really for her anymore.
You are not imagining it. And this is for you.💚

There was a time I couldn't imagine doing something like this alone. No liquid courage, no one to share it with, just me and a camel on a beach in Port Macquarie fully present and completely free. Sobriety didn't take my life away. It gave me one worth remembering. This is what starting over feels like. 💚
