IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTICE – SUNDAY 26 JULY

If you’re travelling to our Pier One Ferry Terminal tomorrow morning, please be aware that road closures and traffic restrictions will be in place for the Yeppoon Running Festival.

Most closures will operate from 4:15am to 1:00pm and may affect your usual route to Rosslyn Bay Harbour.

Please check the road closure information, plan an alternative route and allow plenty of extra travel time to ensure you arrive in time for your scheduled ferry departure.

Please also note that our office will not open until approximately 8:30am tomorrow morning.

Then & Now ⚓🌊

Some things never change… just the years and the stories in between.

On New Year’s Day, 1 January 1999, Max Allen Jnr took the helm on our very first journey to Great Keppel Island… and he’s been doing what he loves ever since.

Raised on the water from day one, boating has never just been a job, it’s been a way of life.

Thousands of crossings, countless guests, changing vessels, changing seasons… but one thing has always stayed the same, his passion for the ocean and sharing this incredible part of the world with others.

From our very first crossing to today… 27 years of Great Keppel memories, and still going strong.
