Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

Douglas TS Pty Ltd - We are a family-owned business looking for an Experienced and Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our company on a permanent position, located in Young NSW.

The successful candidate must meet the below requirements:

Must be living in Australia and have the right to work in Australia
Experience working with Kenworth and Cummins motors (Preferred but not essential)
Knowledge of the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme
Current drivers’ license
Welding experience (Preferred but not essential)
Diagnostic experience (Preferred but not essential)
Fully qualified diesel mechanic with a minimum experience of 2 years
Hydraulic experience (Preferred but not essential)
MC and RMS Inspectors licenses will be looked upon highly favorably.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

Complete servicing tasks and maintenance tasks on trucks, tipper trailers and workshop equipment.
Review and record vehicle maintenance records to ensure all servicing and repairs are completed on time.
Ensure safety critical items are serviced and repaired.
