Check out Haren’s luggage setup on his Kove 450!

He’s fully kitted out with Giant Loop, our trusted luggage brand for mototouring, offroad adventures and travelling! And you won’t believe he’s carrying up to 102L of luggage capacity on this setup.

Here’s the full lineup:
1. Coyote Saddlebag - 39L
2. Tillamook Dry Bag - 48L
3. 2 × Possibles Pouches - 3.5L each
4. Fandango Tank Bag - 8L

That’s a serious amount of storage for all the essentials: camping gear (plus his massive camping pillow😆), spare parts, comprehensive toolkit, a trauma kit, clothes, shoes and everything else you need for the adventure!

As we were riding through the mountainous roads of Bosnia, we rounded a bend and found two tiny pups in the middle of the road. Haren immediately hopped off to help reunite them with the rest of the pack by the roadside, only to discover a total of 8 pups (no more than 2 weeks old) waddling around! They started tailing Haren, seeking some affection. We gave them all the love we could before riding on…💔

Why we do repairs on our own bikes most of the time? ⬇️

😂🏍️ Booked a motel for a good night’s sleep… ended up opening a mini bike workshop in the carpark instead! 🔧🤣

Trying to find a mechanic who can squeeze you in at short notice is an adventure of its own - expect to wait 2-3 weeks! Then come the labour rates that make you wonder if they’re fixing your bike or rebuilding the entire engine from scratch. And don’t even get started on bringing your own parts to workshops in Europe — apparently, turning up with the parts you want changed on hand is a no-no due to warranty issues! Being constantly on the move, sadly, most workshops don’t work out for us.

So here we are, becoming our own roadside mechanics, surrounded by tools, spare parts and lots of care and attention from the friendly motel owner… all while trying not to annoy the room-next-door 😂 At this point, we should be charging ourselves labour and leaving a five-star review! 🛠️🏍️

Day 695-696 (30 Sep to 1 Oct 2026)
Weather: 28C, overcast
Distance: 360km of which 150km was off road through the Teruel region

It was time to leave the coast and head inland to find another jewel of Spain’s off road scene - the Teruel region.

An area within Aragón, Teruel is one of Spain’s most rugged and sparsely populated regions, shaped by high plateaus, deep valleys and dramatic mountain landscapes.

Its historic towns and villages preserve a strong Mudéjar heritage, while the surrounding countryside is a playground of dirt tracks, canyons and open roads.

Remote, dry and often overlooked, Teruel feels like a glimpse of a wilder Spain—perfect territory for the off road adventure we were about to embark on!

We followed the Trains European Trail, passing other explorers on bikes too. The landscape dramatically went from arid scrub to highland plateaus and then to pine forest - within a couple hundred kilometres!

We finally hopped off the TET when the rain came in - a red alert warning has been issued by the local authorities and we didn’t want to get caught out in the wilderness when the storm came in.

Luckily, we only got a little bit of a sprinkling before we settled down in a little hostel in Poveda De La Sierra, which clearly was in the low season, but had a nice clean room for us.
