Y Shaped Bridge

Y Shaped Bridge Asia’s largest Y-shaped bridge constructed at Bancharampur in Brahmanbaria.

Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) has constructed the 771.2-metre bridge over the river Titas. Country’s first Y-shaped bridge is build on the estuary of Titas River in the district. Bangladesh and China joint venture institution WMCG-Navana JV started the construction on June 16, 2011. The bridge made ease the travel across Bancharampur, Nabinagar, Muradnagar, Titas, Homna and Chandina in addition to cutting the travel time.
