Ramadan Series: Day 8🌙

The Ultimate Cleanse🤍✨
When you go into Sujood today, don’t just pray for your needs—pray for your soul. This Prophetic Dua is a “total wipeout” of sins, asking Allah to forgive everything from our past to our future.

The Dua:

“Allahummagh-fir li dhanbi kullahu: diqqahu wa jillahu, wa awwalahu wa akhirahu, wa ‘alaniyatahu wa sirrahu.”

“O Allah! Forgive me all my sins: the small and the great, the first and the last, the open and the secret.”

The Reference:
Recorded in Sahih Muslim (483). The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say this while in prostration (Sujood). It leaves no sin behind, making it the perfect prayer for these nights of Mercy. 🤲✨

This is a powerful Dua for when you feel you have no one to turn to but Allah. It acknowledges that true grace and mercy are in His hands alone✨

The Dua:

“O Allah, I ask You for Your Grace and Your Mercy, for indeed, no one possesses them except You.”

The Reference:
This Dua is recorded in Al-Mu’jam al-Kabir (Tabarani) and is classified as Sahih. The Prophet (ﷺ) recited this when his household was in need, and soon after, Allah provided for them in an unexpected way.🤲✨

A Prayer for Final Success🙌

As we reach the middle of the first ten days of Mercy, our hearts turn toward the ultimate reality. This Dua is a beautiful plea for peace at the most difficult transitions of our journey.

The Dua:

“Allahummagh-firlana qablal-mawt, warhamna ‘indal-mawt, wala tu’adhibna ba’dal-mawt.”

The Meaning:
“O Allah, forgive us before death, have mercy on us at the time of death, and do not punish us after death.”

The Essence:
We ask for Maghfirah (forgiveness) to clear our slate, Rahmah (mercy) to ease our transition, and Protection for our eternal home. Save this and recite it in your Sujood today. 🤲✨

This is a beautiful and very practical Dua, especially for those seeking Barakah (blessing) in their personal life and family. It was famously taught by the Prophet (ﷺ) to Anas bin Malik (RA).

The Dua:

“Allahumma akthir mali, wa waladi, wa barik li fima a’taytani.”

The Meaning:
“O Allah, increase my wealth and my children, and bestow Barakah (blessings) upon me in whatever You have given me.”

The Reference:
This is part of a longer Dua recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari (6334) and Sahih Muslim (2481). The Prophet (ﷺ) made this specific prayer for his servant, Anas (RA), who later became one of the wealthiest and longest-living Sahaba. ✨🤲

The Cure for Anxiety and Grief 💔

Ramadan isn’t just about physical fasting; it’s about healing the heart. This Dua is a profound plea for Allah’s help against the heavy burdens of the mind and soul.

The Dua:
“Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika minal-hammi wal-ḥuzni, wal-‘ajzi wal-kasali, wal-bukhli wal-jubni, wa ḍala‘id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijāl.”

The Meaning:
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, and from being overpowered by debt and the oppression of men.”

Reference:
Recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari 2893. The Prophet ﷺ would recite this frequently to protect his heart from the weights of this world.

On Jumu’ah, there is a special hour when dua is accepted.

We may not know the exact moment, so let’s keep asking from morning till evening. Repeat the dua closest to your heart. Whisper it between salah, after ‘Asr, before Maghrib.

Don’t stop.

Allah hears every word. He knows every tear. Keep making dua - this might be your moment of acceptance.++
