অবৈধ অভিবাসীদের প্রত্যাবাসন
গত কয়েকদিনে ইতালি ১৭ জন বাংলাদেশী নাগরিককে থাকার অনুমতি ছাড়াই দেশে ফেরত পাঠিয়েছে। মানবধিকারের প্রতি পূর্ণ সম্মান এবং ইউরোপীয় প্রতিশ্রুতি অক্ষুণ্ণ রেখে পুরো অভিযানটি পরিচালনা করা হয়েছে৷ সবচেয়ে বড় গ্রুপটিকে ফেরত পাঠাতে সহযোগীতা করেছে ইউরোপিয়ান সংস্থা FRONREX.
প্রত্যাবর্তনকারীদের মধ্যে কয়েকজন চলতি বছরের সেপ্টেম্বরের শুরুর দিকে ইতালিতে প্রবেশ করেছিলেন এবং তাদেরকে দ্রুততর সময়ের মধ্যেই স্বদেশে ফেরত পাঠানোয় ধন্যবাদ ইতালিয়ান বর্ডার সিস্টেমকে৷
যারা উপযুক্ত ভিসা ছাড়াই ইতালিতে প্রবেশ এর কথা ভাবছেন, তাদের জন্য এই অবিলম্বে প্রত্যাবর্তন একটি কঠোর বার্তা দিচ্ছে: মানবপাচারকারী বা চোরাচালানকারীদের টাকা প্রদান করে কোনো লাভ নেই বরং এটি শোষণ এবং কালোবাজারির দিকে পরিচালনা করে৷
যদি আপনি লিবিয়া থেকে নৌকায় অবৈধভাবে ইতালিতে আসেন, অথবা ভুয়া বা জাল কাগজপত্র ব্যবহার করেন, তাহলে প্রত্যাবাসন প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন হওয়ার সাথে সাথেই আপনাকে প্রত্যাবর্তন করা হবে। ইতিমধ্যে, আপনি শোষণ এবং কালোবাজারির শিকার হবেন।
এছাড়াও, যাদেরকে স্বদেশে প্রত্যাবাসন করা হচ্ছে তারা ইতালিয়ান এবং ইউরোপীয় আইনের আওতায় অন্তত ৩ বছরের জন্য ইতালিসহ ইউরোপিয় ইউনিয়ন সদস্য দেশগুলো থেকে নিষিদ্ধ থাকবে৷
অবৈধ অভিবাসন ও মানব পাচারের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই, বৈধ ও নিরাপদ অভিবাসন প্রচার এবং প্রকৃত অভিবাসীদের নির্যাতন ও শোষণ থেকে রক্ষা করার জন্য ইতালির ক্রমবর্ধমান প্রতিশ্রুতির কাঠামোর মধ্যে এই প্রত্যাবর্তন কার্যক্রম পরিচালিত হচ্ছে।

Repatriation of illegal migrants
Over the last few days Italy has repatriated 17 Bangladeshi citizens without authorization to stay. The operations were conducted in full respect of human rights and European guarantees. The largest group was returned with the support of the European Agency FRONTEX.
Some of the returnees had landed in Italy from Libya in early September and were immediately repatriated thanks to the latest Italian border procedure.
Their immediate return is a powerful message to those who are considering to reach Italy without a proper visa: paying traffickers and smugglers DOES NOT WORK and leads to exploitation and black market.
If you arrive in Italy illegally by boat from Libya, or using false or counterfeited documents, you will be taken back as soon as the repatriation procedures are completed.
Moreover, those who are repatriated will be banned from entering all European Union Member States for at least three years, as per Italian and European law.
These return operations are taking place in the framework of Italy's increasing commitment to combat illegal immigration and human trafficking, promote legal and safe migration and protect legitimate migrants from abuse and exploitation.
