Dnet, a social enterprise, was established in 2001 with a vision for a society where information, technology and knowledge facilitates are kept as the core focus to create an impact in the lives of marginalized population of the country; also, all stake holders' participation in generation of wealth and its equitable distribution for poverty alleviation. Dnet pioneered in research on using ICT as a primary means for alleviating poverty, empowerment through minimizing the digital divide and access to information, civic participation, capacity development and employment generation. These endeavors have helped us to transcend the national boundary and become visible in the global context. Since inception, Dnet has been trying to develop evidence based practical models that would harness the power of mobile phone, web and new technologies to ensure empowerment of rural population. Dnet pioneered in research/innovation of models and strategies using ICT as a primary tool to support and provide service to hard-to-reach population in isolated rural areas of Bangladesh. The models developed by Dnet for empowerment of different target population in different sectors such as livelihood, health and education have proved to have excellent scalability and replicability. Apart from that, over the years Dnet has also developed expertise in content development encompassing various issues of aforementioned sectors. Our multilateral collaborations with GO’s, NGO’s, development partners and donor agencies have strengthened our ability to undertake large scale programs and ensure smooth execution. 📢 “সেবা থাকা আর সেবায় পৌঁছানো—এক কথা নয়!”

সরকারি সুযোগ-সুবিধা থাকা সত্ত্বেও তথ্য ও সংযোগের অভাবে অনেক সময় আমাদের প্রান্তিক জনগোষ্ঠী (নারী, চা-শ্রমিক, প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তি, ক্ষুদ্র কৃষক ও যুবসমাজ) তাদের ন্যায্য সেবা থেকে বঞ্চিত হন।

এই ব্যবধান দূর করতেই ১৩ সেপ্টেম্বর কুলাউড়া উপজেলা পরিষদে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেল একটি বিশেষ পরামর্শমূলক কর্মশালা—‘কণ্ঠস্বর থেকে কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ’। 🏛️✨

💡 কী উঠে এলো এই কর্মশালায়?

জনগণের সমস্যা কেবল শোনার মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ না রেখে, তা কার্যকর পদক্ষেপে রূপ দেওয়ার জোর দাবি জানানো হয়।

নাগরিক–সরকার সংযোগ সুদৃঢ় করতে প্রস্তাব করা হয়েছে একটি ৬-ধাপের কার্যকর প্রক্রিয়া:

🔹 জানা ➔ রিপোর্ট ➔ প্রেরণ ➔ সাড়া ➔ অনুসরণ ➔ যাচাই

🤝 সুশাসনের শেষ-মাইলের সেতু:

স্থানীয় CSO ও CBO-গুলো কোনো নতুন বা সমান্তরাল ব্যবস্থা নয়; বরং তারা সাধারণ মানুষ ও সরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানের মাঝে তৈরি করবে আস্থার সেতুবন্ধন। এর লক্ষ্য বিদ্যমান ব্যবস্থাগুলোকেই জনগণের কাছে আরও সহজ, সাড়াদানকারী ও জবাবদিহিমূলক করে তোলা।

“মৌলভীবাজারে মানুষের কথা বলার জন্য শুধু আরেকটি ব্যবস্থা প্রয়োজন নেই; প্রয়োজন এমন একটি শক্তিশালী ব্যবস্থা, যার মাধ্যমে মানুষের কথা শোনা হবে, প্রতিষ্ঠানের সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত হবে এবং ফলাফল মানুষকে জানানো হবে।”

‘নাগরিকতা – সিভিক এনগেজমেন্ট ফান্ড (সিইএফ)’ একটি উন্নয়নমূলক কর্মসূচি, যা সুইজারল্যান্ড, কানাডা এবং ইউরোপীয় ইউনিয়নের অর্থায়নে, জিএফএ কনসাল্টিং গ্রুপ দ্বারা পরিচালিত। ‘নাগরিক সমন্বয়’ হলো ডিনেট ও তার চারটি সহযোগী সংস্থা দ্বারা বাস্তবায়নাধীন একটি প্রকল্প।
