Tangail Airport

Tangail Airport In 1967, Tangail Airport was established on 11 acre land by costing 11 crore taka. But, from the year 1974 to till date, this airport has been unused.

Mainly to save the agricultural lands from the insects in Tangail and other nearby districts, cargo airbuses were used to spread pesticides in two terms in each year. From that time, this airport has remained unprotected.
