Wij willen absoluut duidelijk zijn:

• Katoen Natie geeft geen investeringsadvies en wij vragen het publiek nooit om te investeren.
• De uitspraken in de video zijn volledig onwaar en moeten genegeerd worden.
• Onze officiële communicatie gebeurt uitsluitend via onze geverifieerde kanalen.

Wij nemen deze zaak zeer ernstig en werken samen met de politie om het publiek te beschermen tegen dit soort fraude.

Wij raden iedereen ten stelligste aan waakzaam te blijven voor online oplichting en steeds de authenticiteit van communicatie te verifiëren alvorens actie te ondernemen.
Pogingen tot oplichting kan men makkelijk herkennen aan: onrealistische beloftes rond snel rijk worden, druk om snel te handelen, onbekende websites/ social media accounts.

We are aware of a forged video circulating online in which our CEO, Fernand Huts, is falsely portrayed giving so called investment advice.
This video is a malicious deepfake and has no connection whatsoever to Katoen Natie, our CEO, or any member of our management team.

We want to be absolutely clear:

• Katoen Natie does not provide investment advice, nor do we ever ask the public to invest.
• The statements in the video are completely false and should be disregarded.
• Our official communication is issued exclusively through our verified channels.

We take this matter very seriously and are cooperating with the police to protect the public from this type of fraud.

We strongly urge everyone to remain vigilant for online scams and always verify the authenticity of any communication before taking action.
Attempts at fraud can often be recognized by unrealistic promises of getting rich quickly, pressure to act fast, or the use of unfamiliar websites or social media accounts.
