I’m not sure how we’re already the middle of October (what??), but it’s the perfect timing to stock up some more Halloween inspired bags. Just like Luna here! She’s brewing up some potions under the full moon, as a witchy bat does. 🧪🌝

A bit of extra stock hit the shop and I’ll be adding more throughout the week. But for now you can, for example, shop Dolores in a regular size with a detachable shoulder strap. ✨

✨ My first 3ply hand spun yarn! ✨
A while ago I decided to finally try and get a first 3ply spun up. I combined one single of Jacob roving I got from jule ↟ woollentwine a few years ago and two singles of a blue/purple/pink Corriedale combed top from an indie dyer that seemed to have closed shop. It was a bit of a guess if it would work, whether it would look good or not and whether or not I’d manage to get the tension right during plying. But it gave me this gorgeous, very soft toned DK weight yarn. And I’m very, very happy!
Selfishly, I cast on a sock already and am excited to make myself a warm pair out of this yarn! I hope to make a similar yarn soon for a colorwork yoke detail, maybe? But I’m so excited for new spinning adventures!

It was finally cold enough to take out and bundle up in multiple knitted garments. Makes me want to take out the more wintery bags too. 🤭

This post is to highlight two patchwork bags that are now at a discounted price, but still looking for a new home! But I also want to check if there’s any interest in a new batch of one of a kind bags, with the typical patchworks that I did before? The heart shaped patchworks was done for Valentine’s Day.
I still have a lot of leftover pieces and I want to find some time to make a few more of these bags, but I want to be sure there is interest in them as they’re a bit more time consuming to make. ✨

✨CHANGELING✨
The Changeling knitting pattern by Karel Chan is now live! ✨
I was so, so fortunate to be able to test knit the cardigan version of this gorgeous pattern and I absolutely love this garment. All over colorwork was very engaging. Never a dull moment! The pattern is so well written. This was a very enjoyable test knit.
Like last time, I took the time to make an illustration to accompany the FO photos. So hope you like that too! 🐇 🍵 🌿
Do you want to make one too with the same yarn and color combination? I put some yarn kits together featuring Biches & Bûches Le Petits Lambswool, which I used for this test knit.
