Today was a quiet rest day, we walked the city and park, relaxed in our apartment and ended with an evening stroll and dinner! 🇫🇷🍔

Day 2, 3,4 - After an eventful first night at the disco we headed in to Marais for some shopping, dinner while people watching. 🇫🇷
The next day we trekked out to the Eiffel Tower via the metro (subway). Spectacular views, we chose the elevators instead of the stairs. Originally built for the world’s fair of 1889, it was only supposed to be a temporary fixture, but due to fanfare, it was made permanent and one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. (Effiel, the builder that an apartment at the top!)🗼
Today we walked to the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre and toured the gorgeous grounds and which is situated on the highest hill in Paris. 🇺🇸We climbed to the top of the main tower dome - 300 steps 90% in a circular one way spiral staircase-and then we did it in reverse! Ended the evening back in Marais (the castro) 🌈Lol

First day in France! Vincennes is a quaint suburb east of Paris where everywhere was very quiet and the town didn’t come alive until after 10am. We toured the Chateau de Vincennes before ending the night at a local bar inside the park!
