Airport lifting!

We were asked by our partner NDW and client Brussels Airport Mechanics department to assist in the removal of a water lock gate.
This gate serves as an emergency block off to protect the waterways downstream from flooding in case of extreme rainfall.

Because there is always a risk of operating the crane at height in close proximity to airplaines, we received a very strict height tolerance of 10m which was not to be interfered.
In situations like these we enjoy using Palfinger's SRC (Synchronized Rope Control) which automatically controls rope winch operation while extending or retracting the crane. This allows me to operate one more function at a time and be more efficient at the job.
RTC (Rope Tension Control) also allows for easy stowing of the winch cable on the flyjib, which makes switching from fixed hook to rope winch extremely fast. Definitely a comfort increase on a large knuckleboom 😁

This week we had a long time wish come true...

A visit and tour of the Palfinger Lengau production facility. 😁
We were kindly invited to take an in depth look at the production lines and each step in the assembly of their loader cranes. 🙌
An overview of the company's history and massive expansion throughout it's 93 year existence was shown. 🤗
We experienced a culture of friendliness and noticed great transparency about the different steps in the process. No glitter coating or showing only the pretty parts of the facility. But a no-nonsense tour that gave a real look into the companies beating heart.
We want to personally thank Andreas Lüftner-Razic, Alex Kasper, Dominik Graml, Maximilian Allstorfer, the lovely tourguide Georg Mairinger and all the kind people who have treated us with the utmost respect during our visit.
Coming here has enforced our gut feeling about the Palfinger brand and showed the complexity behind these feats of engineering 🤩
Also a large thank you to .palfinger for establishing a great connection with us and the brand. Making all of this possible. 🙏

Repetition is the mother of perfection 🙌

For a repeat customer and good friend Wim Leysen and Yaro Leysen we assisted in the digging of a swimming pond. 😁

In this video I'll explain the decision process for why a crane was used and the specific advantages it brought for this job.
Also you'll get a good idea of the possibilities cranes offer as a low impact solution to do some serious work 🤩

🎂 4 jaar Flebus Containers & Kraanservice 🎂

4 jaar waarin we onszelf hebben kunnen uitdagen, kunnen bijleren en kunnen verbeteren.

4 jaar geleden nooit kunnen denken dat wij vandaag een nieuwe vrachtwagen zouden hebben, een extra chauffeur & zoveel leuken projecten en klanten waar wij ons dag in en dag uit voor kunnen inzetten. 🙏

Voor .nv en mochten wij de plaatsing van 10 containers voorzien voor de stockage van EPDM-dakmateriaal.
Hieronder zie je de plaatsing in de vestiging van Orcq, Doornik! 😁

Voor een klant uit Bonheiden plaatsten we deze 2 betere kwaliteit occasie containers over de elektriciteitsleidingen.
De klant was zeer tevreden met het eindresultaat en zal de containers gebruiken als magazijnruimte. 👌
Het zijn mooie dagen wanneer we de kwaliteit kunnen leveren die de klanten verdienen 🤩

Afgelopen weekend stond het galabal van studentenvereniging Ekonomika uit Leuven op de planning💃🪩 Dit jaar ging het evenement door in de PAM Expo te Court-Saint-Étienne. Om nog meer in het steampunk thema te komen, plaatsten wij 5 zeecontainers binnenin de expo die dienst zouden doen als inkom voor het galabal 🎟🚂 Alweer een mooi projectje voor ons!
