Outdoor Recreation Schedule Update – 4 & 7 September

As SHAPE Fest gets underway, please remember that SHAPE Outdoor Recreation is closed today, Friday 4 September, and will also be closed on Monday 7 September in support of the event.

🧭 𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐆𝐆𝐄 𝐆𝐄𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 — 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀 𝐃𝐀𝐘!

BOSS Brugge Geocache Adventure – 29 August 2026

Our ODR SHAPE urban geocachers had a fantastic day exploring Brugge, solving puzzles, finding hidden caches and discovering the city from a completely different perspective!

The group took on the 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 geocache, working together to crack clues and locate some pretty creative caches along the way. 🔎🗺️

Even the weather cooperated, giving everyone plenty of time to enjoy the adventure, take in the beautiful surroundings and stop for a well-earned lunch in Brugge city centre.

After lunch, the team headed back out, successfully found the bonus cache and wrapped up the adventure in the late afternoon — just before the heavy rain arrived. Perfect timing! 🌧️😄

👏 A big thank you to 𝐌𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐝, ODR volunteer and geocache guide, for leading the group through Brugge and helping make the day such a fun experience.

Last Thursday, 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗘 𝗢𝗗𝗥 and 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗯𝘆 𝗝𝗙 hosted their first 𝟭𝟴 𝗸𝗺 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

This time, the weather finally cooperated with us and participants enjoyed a lovely, safe and relaxed ride through the beautiful 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲.

After the ride, the group stopped at SHAPE - B3's Sports Bar for a nice conversation, snacks and a well-deserved beverage. 🍹
