August 2026: Poland Tour Part 12 Days 35-36: Join us in Gustav, our Bailey Adamo motorhome, as we continue our European tour!
In this episode, as we head back West, we make a transit stop at a German Stellplatz before heading over to visit the historic Möhne Dam — the famous WW2 Dambusters raid site. We explore the massive dam wall, see where the breach repairs took place. From Germany, we cross the border into Belgium to check into a Camping-Car Park site in Hamoir. Along the way, poor Sprocket has to wear the "Cone of Shame" after scratching her face, but she takes it in her stride!

Our video, released tomorrow, covers two sites which led to some of the greatest War films of WWII. However, behind the gloss, there's always some reality. The tunnel of the"The Great Escape" was planned for 200 to escape. In reality, 76 made it through the tunnel. All but 3 were caught, with 50 being executed on Hitler's orders.
