Following our recent visit to China at the invitation of Huawei , we return with valuable insights, new perspectives, and a strong sense of inspiration.

At the end of June 2026, the senior management team of BMF Port Burgas AD had the opportunity to take part in a highly engaging business program that included visits to Transport logistic & air cargo Shanghai 2026, Huawei’s headquarters in Shanghai, Mawan Port, and the Port of Tianjin.
What we experienced was truly impressive: world-class infrastructure, remarkable technological progress, advanced automation, and a clear vision for the future of smart, sustainable, and highly efficient ports.
The visit also provided an excellent platform for productive discussions with current partners, as well as with potential future partners. These meetings opened new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the implementation of innovative solutions in the maritime and logistics sector.
Beyond the professional agenda, we were deeply impressed by the scale, dynamism, and hospitality we encountered throughout the visit. It was an inspiring experience that reaffirmed the importance of international cooperation, innovation, and continuous development.

We sincerely thank Mr. YURONG (Chris) XU and Huawei for the invitation, the warm welcome and the opportunity to be part of such a valuable exchange.

⚓ Today at BMF Port Burgas a SPECIAL BLESSING CEREMONY FOR OUR NEW EQUIPMENT was held. The two brand-new Gottwald cranes with 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ ton lifting capacity each are fully operational since the end of 2025. They are both located at Berth 28 (a newly constructed and delivered under the EU co-financed project REBIRT28) and mark an important milestone in the development of our port infrastructure.
The investment made 💶: for the construction of Berth 28 and the purchase of the relative equipment, strengthens our operational capacity and supports faster, more efficient and more flexible cargo handling at our terminals.

During the ceremony, a traditional meal🍲for the health, safety, and well-being of all our colleagues and their families was gaved away spreading the blessing. This is a gesture of gratitude, unity, and care for the people behind our operations.

Посещението премина в истински празнична атмосфера – децата се докоснаха отблизо до динамиката на пристанищния живот, направиха снимки за спомен и усетиха магията на морето.
С много усмивки и настроение, малките гости получиха подаръци и 🍭лакомства, а радостта им превърна деня в незабравимо преживяване.
