Every airline has one signature that matters more than the rest.
Under EASA rules, an operator must name one person with the corporate authority to ensure all operations are financed and carried out to the required standard. Not a committee. One name on the AOC. If safety and commercial pressure ever pull in opposite directions, that person decides - and owns the outcome.
At Fly2Sky, that name is Peter Lavrinov.
What makes it work here is that he hasn’t left the flight deck. He’s still an A320 and E170/190 Captain, still a TRI/TRE, still instructing UPRT and CRM. So when a crew reports something, it isn’t travelling up to someone who last flew a decade ago. It reaches someone who was on a night rotation last month and knows exactly what the report means.
That’s the version of accountability we think ACMI customers should be asking about.
