Okay real talk. I grew up in a non-Disney family. But when we had kids, I wanted them to experience that magic — the characters, the wonder, the feeling of it all. 🪄

What I did NOT want? The heat. The crowds. The lines that eat your entire afternoon. The color-coded schedule where one wrong move sends everyone into a spiral. 😅

A friend of mine stopped me mid-complaint and said: “Have you ever considered a Disney Cruise?”

And honestly? I almost laughed. (Especially with my propensity toward motion sickness!)

But I went. And I haven’t been the same since.

Because a Disney Cruise is everything you love about Disney — the characters, the shows, the food, the magic — without a single thing that makes the parks feel like a second job. 😅

If your kiddo has outgrown Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (or just wants something a little different), the Untangled Salon on the Disney Wish, Treasure, or Destiny is such a hidden gem. 💎 My 9 year old felt so special, so grown up, and walked out absolutely glowing — and honestly? Mom was a little jealous. 💁‍♀️

It’s the perfect blend of fun and fancy without the full princess production — great for tweens, older kids, or just girls who want to feel extra fabulous on their cruise vacation. 🚢

A first look at Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point 🏝️ This gorgeous space combines the beauty of white (even pink!) sand beaches with the purest blue water 🌊 It’s intent is to honor the Bahamian culture while providing Disney’s warm hospitality and lively entertainment. 🎶

You’ll find the characters dressed in their Bahamian best, dancing in a rich cultural celebration with vibrant colors. There’s a family beach and an adult-only beach, both with ample loungers and umbrellas to maximize relaxation. 🏖️

You’ll find a Kids Club area providing an opportunity for parents to have a quiet, blissful moment to enjoy the water by themselves. ⛱️🌊

We personally loved how spread out everything was, increasing the serenity and privacy feel of the island area. ✨👏🏽

There are three locations for lunch, all fully included in your cruise fare, and of course the crowd-favorite - unlimited soft-serve ice cream! 🍦

Lookout Cay is definitely unique in its beauty - different from Castaway Cay yet still true to the paradise experience.☀️
