Sailing from the Abacos, we docked at Atlantis marina on Paradise Island. We're sharing our favorite spots from our 3-day stay before heading to the Berry Islands. This isn't a full resort tour, but a glimpse of our experience at Atlantis.

Navigating Eleuthera, especially Spanish Wells, revealed a major charting discrepancy. What was marked as 4 feet deep turned out to be 10 feet, and 8 feet was only 2 feet. The Navionics charts are outdated, posing a real risk. Sounding needs urgent correction to prevent future issues.

The joy of discovering a new destination is in the unplanned wanderings. Sometimes you stumble upon hidden gems like a marina or a unique restaurant, and other times, you reach the end of the road. Either way, the adventure is in the exploration.

Taking on boat laundry with a bucket system! Soap, rinse, and repeat – literally. Doing loads one by one, rinsing and wringing. It's a hands-on approach to getting the clothes clean.

We're heading into Spanish Wells, a secluded fishing town. Filming in the crossing where the nearest humans are 20 miles away on a tanker ship. Join us as we navigate the tricky waters and discover this unique community.

Hey friends and family! πŸ‘‹

A quick reminder: our YouTube videos are running a little behind real life. This episode was filmed during our Bahamas trip back in July, so if you've seen us recently and wondered where we are, that's why! πŸ˜„
Our latest video is now live on YouTube. Please go to the app. Trying to watch it from the link inside FB is painful.

In this first episode of our journey to the Exumas, we leave Abaco and head for Spanish Wells, Eleuthera. Along the way we cross the Northeast Providence Pass, make our way through Ridley Head Cut, and then promptly manage to soft-ground Serenity in the sand before we've barely even started the adventure. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚

After getting settled safely at anchor, we explore Spanish Wells, check out the famous Wreckers restaurant, and end the day with a beautiful Bahamas sunset from aboard Serenity.

We really hope you enjoy coming along for the ride and appreciate all the support you've given us as we share these adventures.

Cheers! 🍻

Pulling anchor for an island adventure! We're grabbing fuel for the dinghy and the boat. Even if you don't eat, the experience of visiting this island by boat is worth it. Plus, a little hair dye update – it's turning green!

We always saw this 3-mile wide beach and dreamed of visiting. Today, that dream comes true at the Bahama Beach Club Pool Bar and Grill in Treasure Cay, one of the few places open after Dorian.

We're sailing towards a potential shelter, trying to get around a rocky point and clear sands. The goal is to find some calm from the incoming swell and wind, hoping there's space for us.
