Skylar Logistics is currently seeking a qualified Heavy Duty Auto Mechanic (Motswana) to join our reputable team. This position is based at our Head Office in Gaborone.

📋 REQUIREMENTS: Valid heavy-duty driving license & valid passport
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and determine necessary repairs or part replacements.
Operate workshop equipment safely and conduct regular maintenance and repairs on both light and heavy-duty petrol and diesel vehicles.
Provide accurate estimates of costs, time, and effort for repair and maintenance work.
Inspect and repair vehicle computer and electronic systems, and carry out necessary upgrades.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
4 to 6 years of proven experience as an auto mechanic.
Solid experience in the maintenance and servicing of petrol and diesel vehicles.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
Proficient in using diagnostic systems and tools.
Hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
