Pangolin Voyager Houseboat Our floating lodge is actually moored on the Namibian side of the Chobe and is the perfect base for families and groups to charter on an exclusive basis.

With 5 cabins the Pangolin Voyager can accommodate up to eight guests cruising along the Chobe River.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Pangolin Voyager has won not one, but TWO prestigious awards at the 2026 World Cruise Awards

And what better way to share the news than with a surprise visit from Pangolin Photo Safaris Co-Founder Guts, who headed out onto the Chobe River to celebrate with our amazing crew!

A huge congratulations and heartfelt thank you to Nakita and every member of our Voyager family. These awards are a reflection of your hard work, warm hospitality, and unwavering dedication to making every guest's experience truly unforgettable.

We would also like to recognise RAD Propulsion and Windhoek-based engineers Edestahlbau, who custom-built our beautiful houseboat. Thank you for your vision, engineering expertise, and for helping bring the Pangolin Voyager to life.

Each of the Pangolin Voyager's five cabins is thoughtfully designed to provide the perfect balance of comfort and connection to the wild. Configurable as either a double or twin, every cabin features an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and plenty of charging points for your cameras and devices.

The real highlight? The near floor-to-ceiling windows, inviting the sights and sounds of the Chobe River into your room.

Because some hotel rooms overlook a garden, ours overlooks the wild.

The Floating Hotel That Creates More Energy Than It Uses?!

Powered by 80 solar panels and 240 kWh of onboard batteries. With zero emissions and silent operation, it enables ridiculous proximity to wildlife. Safe to say, it totally blew us away. The Voyager’s propulsion system uses axial flux motors from RAD Propulsion, leveraging its high-torque slow-spinning propellers, and smart data analytics to deliver an ultra-efficient, perfectly spec’ed, whisper quiet cruising experience.
