GREEN SEASON SAFARI

The Green Season Safari is truly one of the most magical times to visit Moremi Game Reserve and the beautiful Khwai area in the Okavango Delta.
During the green season, the rains transform the landscape into a lush paradise. With abundant grazing and browsing available, wildlife receives all the essential nutrients and minerals needed for optimal health and successful breeding. It’s a time of renewal, activity, and incredible sightings.
One of the highlights of this season is witnessing rare and intimate wildlife moments — like the recent sighting of giraffes mating during our ongoing 7-day safari. Such encounters are special, as giraffes have a long gestation period of about 15 months. This means we can eagerly look forward to the arrival of a newborn calf in the months ahead — a true symbol of the green season’s promise of new life.
The green season not only offers dramatic skies and vibrant scenery but also exceptional wildlife behavior, fewer crowds, and outstanding photographic opportunities.
