I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Robert Irving.

During my time working at Midland, I encountered a critical situation that wasn't being handled appropriately.

Deciding to address it directly, I walked up the stairs and knocked on the door of Mr. Irving’s office.
Instead of turning me away, he welcomed me in. Within hours, a resolution was made.

While I was grateful for the quick fix, my biggest takeaway was what he told me at the end of our meeting: "Never hesitate to climb those steps if you have an issue, Phil."

That moment stuck with me forever. It shaped my core values and heavily molded how I operate my own trucking company, Liberty Lane Power and Logistics, today. He taught me what true leadership looks like.

My deepest condolences go out to his family. Rest in peace, Mr. Irving.
