In light of the current COVID-19 issues we offer clients a ‘Private Car Service’ to and from appointments at hospitals and medical centers in Nova Scotia, and when travelling from Halifax Airport to your chosen destination in NS. This service would be for the booked
client only and you will not be sharing transport with other clients without prior arrangements. We continue to sanitize our vehicles after each journey to give our clients as much protection as we can from any possible infections. Masks or face covering should be worn if you feel unwell. Remember, should you have any mobility or disability problems and may require the use of a wheelchair but are still able to transfer to a car seat, we now offer the use of our Travel Buggy powered wheelchair **(see rates below). This powered wheelchair allows clients with a mobility issue to go on their medical appointment without the need of a carer or family member, once we arrive at the hospital we can get the client into the Travel Buggy and allow them the freedom to go to their appointment. Once completed we will meet them back at the vehicle for the transport home. This wheelchair helps to reduce the exposure of carers and/or family members at the hospital which we hope will also help protect our front-line medical staff, helping them remain free of COVID-19.
