MKW Logistics Group has over 10 years experience delivering transportation services across Ontario. Our company provides our customers with strategic transportation and logistics services through the utilization of our people’s skills, processes and technology. Currently, we have an opportunity for a PEAK SEASON Courier Driver, willing to do e-commerce delivery, using their own vehicle.

You would pick up packages from our client’s warehouse in Ottawa and deliver them to peoples’ homes in pre-allocated zones in surrounding areas. Average earning is $200 plus, per day. Monday to Friday, and weekends, if interested.

Key Responsibilities:
• Pick-up and delivery of customer packages
• Perform additional pickups and deliveries as required
• Accurate completion and daily submission of required documentation
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Load and deliver the assigned shipment effectively and efficiently
• Use scanners and other equipment with care and consideration and report technical issues immediately
• Drive in a safe and professional manner

Key Requirements:
• As an Independent Contractor you will be using you own vehicle (cargo van, SUV, Minivan)
• Cell phone (with data)
• Always possess a valid G class Driver’s License
• Clean drivers abstract
• Complete a criminal record check if required
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Good knowledge of local geographical area
• Customer service focus, patience and punctuality
• Effective communication skills
• Able to speak, read and write in English

Approximately 60 - 90 stops per day and 200 – 250 km per day including stem time/kilometer
Load and unload vehicle

Ability to pickup and deliver all packages associated to the route or as required
