At the beginning of July, we decided we at J&R Hall would try and walk the length of the Trans-Canada Highway which stretches about 7,821km (4,860 miles)

We decided our imaginary starting point would be mile marker 1, in Victoria, BC.

Collectively, we have walked 2,223.73 KM which places us just east of Swift Current, SK! (roughly the purple mark on the map)

We would like to invite YOU to join us!

If you wear a smart watch or carry a phone, please feel free to share your steps or KM walked, anytime from July 3rd until July 30th and help us reach the east coast!🏃‍♀️‍➡️

It's Operation Safe Driver Week, CVSA's seven-day traffic-enforcement and safe-driving awareness initiative taking place throughout Canada, Mexico and the U.S. From July 12-18, law enforcement personnel across North America will be monitoring commercial motor vehicle drivers and passenger vehicle drivers for high-risk driving behaviors, such as speeding, distracted driving, following too closely, improper lane changes, failure to use a seat belt, impaired driving, fatigued driving, failure to obey traffic control devices, etc. Drivers operating unsafely may receive a warning or citation/ticket.

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) has announced July 12-18 as this year’s Operation Safe Driver Week, a safe-driving enforcement and outreach initiative aimed at improving driving behaviors through education, traffic-enforcement strategies and driver interactions with law enforcement.
