Mill Creek celebrated Driver Appreciation Days from September 14 to 18, and it was a great week to thank the people who keep us moving. Drivers joined us for early breakfasts in Alliston, Ayr, and London, enjoyed grab-and-go lunches throughout the week, and wrapped things up with Ice Cream Day on Friday. We had treats, laughs, a fun candy-jar contest, and lots of time connecting with our drivers to hear about their life on the road.

Thank you to every Mill Creek driver for your hard work, safe miles, and dedication every day.

Congratulations to our Drivers and entire team on receiving Team Honda Overall Performance Award for a second consecutive year, recognizing excellence in safety, delivery performance, and communication.

We were honoured to welcome Dan Pace who travelled all the way from Alabama to visit our Alliston terminal to present the award.

Our long and successful partnership with Honda starts with our drivers, whose updates from the road help our operations team keep customers informed and respond quickly when plans change. From there, our dispatch, planning, customer service, maintenance, safety, and leadership crews all work together to deliver the service Honda has come to expect.

Thank you to the people who keep our wheels rolling every day and Dan and Honda for the recognition.

Every day, we come together in our workspaces to share news, celebrate each other, and celebrate shared wins during our morning huddle. Each department and location gives updates so we can work as one team. After so much growth in the past couple of years, moments like these are a key part of our culture and help keep our freight network efficient, safe, and reliable across our terminals in Ayr, Alliston and London. After we talk about daily shipments, fleet status, and work anniversaries, we all share a laugh at Director of Operations Matt’s daily dad joke. Our commitment to clear communication with each other, our customers, and our partners is one of the ways Mill Creek makes shipping easy.
