I get asked by people outside the industry how long I've been doing this - Boats are the only thing I've ever done. This is my gimble bearing tool - it has been used by apprentices and other employees over the years - but it takes a number of hammer hits, many gimbal bearing installs and transom reseals to turn that 1.5" solid piece of metal into a large flared mushroom.

Thats a lot of memories made on the water right there.

This Mastercraft came in for some upkeep, maintenance, and to ensure it was ready for Summer '26 - Check out how it looks now after getting the Vantage Protection Products Canada Diamond Ceramic Coating and Transom protection installed.
We also refreshed the swim platform while ensuring it still offered plenty of grip for wet feet!
Regular maintenance and cleaning sure go a long way to ensuring your boat stays looking sharp and performing properly.

Transom re-seal/bellows 101 - make sure all of these parts are being replaced when you are having your u-joint/exhaust/shift bellows done on a Mercruiser!

Let me tell you - there is no place I'd rather be doing a bellows job - than on the workbench! A rare occurrence for sure.
