🎓✨ Preschool Graduation 2026 ✨🎓

What an incredible journey it has been! We are so proud of each and every one of our graduates and have cherished watching them learn, grow, and discover the world around them. ❤️

Some of our friends joined us as tiny babies, taking their very first steps and speaking their first words within our walls. Others came to us later in their journey, but no matter how long they have been with us, we have treasured every laugh, every milestone, every friendship, and every special moment we’ve shared together. From crawling to running, from first words to endless conversations, it has been a privilege to be part of their story.

As they prepare for their next adventure, we wish each of our graduates the very best of luck in kindergarten. We know they will continue to shine, explore, and accomplish amazing things. 🌟

🌸🪴 Planting seeds of imagination in Preschool 3! 🪴🌸

Today, our little gardeners explored a hands-on sensory invitation where they chose a pot, scooped and poured their “soil,” made a hole, selected their favourite flower, and proudly planted their own beautiful creations. 🌷

Through this playful experience, the children practiced sequencing, strengthened fine motor skills, and engaged in imaginative play while expressing their creativity and making thoughtful choices. We loved seeing their excitement and pride as each unique arrangement came to life! 💕🌼

A huge thank you to Brandi for creating this incredible busy board/music wall for our friends! 🎶💛

This thoughtful and creative addition is going to bring so much joy, exploration, and sensory play to our outdoor space. We can already picture the smiles, curiosity, and music-filled moments it will inspire. Not only is it beautiful, but it will help make our yard an even more engaging, inclusive, and welcoming place for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you to one of our wonderful families for this beautiful Mud Kitchen they donated to our Belleville location! Tina and Curtis Frost - we are so thankful for the opportunities this will provide for our little explorers. 🩷🫶🏻 We are excited to see how the children make this space their own. We hope it becomes a place for creativity, imagination, collaboration, and discovery as they mix, pour, scoop, and create with natural materials.

Through open-ended play, we look forward to seeing children experiment with cause and effect, engage in meaningful conversations with peers, develop problem-solving skills, and express their ideas in unique ways. Whether they are creating a mud pie, a nature soup, or something entirely their own, every experience offers opportunities for learning and growth.

We can’t wait to see where their curiosity leads them! 💚

Sometimes the simplest experiences create the biggest learning opportunities! 💦🖌️

This week, Educator Kelsey transformed our Toddler 2 outdoor space with paint brushes and water. With no paint required, the children eagerly explored painting the fences, tables, toys, the ground, and even themselves!

This open-ended experience encouraged creativity, imagination, and sensory exploration while strengthening fine motor skills as little hands grasped, dipped, brushed, and painted. The children were fascinated by watching their water “paint” appear and disappear as surfaces dried, sparking curiosity and conversations about cause and effect.

Simple materials, endless possibilities, and lots of smiles made for a wonderful day of outdoor learning and discovery! ☀️

✨ Bringing Our Classroom to Life Through Small World Play! ✨

Last week, educator Emma in our Pre-3 Belleville classroom thoughtfully created a small world representation of a play space. Complete with familiar classroom materials, loose parts, and miniature versions of activities the children engage with each day, this invitation encouraged children to revisit and explore their everyday experiences through play.

Small world play allows children to make sense of the world around them by recreating familiar routines, experiences, and relationships. As children engage with the miniature classroom, they develop language and literacy skills through storytelling, conversation, and sharing ideas with peers. They also strengthen their memory and comprehension as they recall classroom experiences and represent them through play.

This type of play supports cognitive development as children sort, organize, problem-solve, and explore mathematical concepts such as counting, matching, and spatial awareness. It also fosters social-emotional learning by giving children opportunities to express their feelings, practice perspective-taking, and build connections between their real-life experiences and imaginative play.

We love seeing how children use play to reflect on their daily experiences, deepen their understanding of the world around them, and celebrate the learning that happens in our classroom every day! 💕✨

Today we are wishing the very best to Haylee as she approaches her maternity leave journey❤️

Haylee has been such a kind, soft, and steady soul within our Pre-2 classroom. The calm, nurturing care she brings each day has made such a meaningful impact on our children, families, and team. Her warmth, patience, and gentle nature shine through in everything she does.

While we will miss her dearly, we are so excited for this next chapter in her life and know she is going to be an absolutely amazing mother. Wishing Haylee a healthy, joyful maternity leave filled with so much love and special moments with her growing family💙🫶🏻🔅🍼
