A little bit of work on one of our ideas! We have decided to postpone our version of a commuter train and instead operate a excursion train to Sulphur Springs. Now the best part of this plan is operation of veteran equipment, including a old 40 foot boxcar to haul passengers mountain bikes to the trailhead at Sulphur Springs station! Stay tuned!

A short freight from Aberdeen yard to Market Street siding creeps by the CN interchange lead... #76 will then head over to the LE&N to pick up some cars from S.C.Johnson for interchange back in Hamilton with CPKC😁

Moving some recently purchased ex-CP Bathtub Gondola’s this Saturday morning. These gondola’s - originally built for hauling coal - will eventually be patched and renumbered, and will be placed into service hauling scrap under TH&B ownership.

Saturday CN transfer run from CN Brantford yard to be handed off to TH&B...apparently no 4 axle power was available...🤔

The CN local is seen running down to Mohawk Yard in the late evening. Running as X580, CN GP9rm 4110 is in charge of tonight’s duties making a drop and a lift from the TH&B yard.

Some spring cleaning being done around the layout. plow X786 - a ‘Russel’ Wedge Snow Plow built in 1949 - is being moved back to Hamilton to be stored until the next winter season.
