We have found the Camino! For the next 100kms / 6 days we’ll be following these blue signs. Hopefully we find a bar or two along the way.

Ponferrada nights Templar castle and a medieval festival. Also met for the first time some fellow Comino hikers, we will be joining them in two nights for the next part of our journey

Segovia main square was alive with entertainment this weekend, street party during the day, outdoor concert in the evening and a market this morning.

We just left Segovia. A walled city just north of Madrid. Possibly my favourite so far in Spain. There’s an old Roman aqueduct that brought water from the mountains into the city, a beautiful cathedral and an Alcazar that is believed to be the inspiration behind the Disney castle!
